On Wednesday, July 17, 2019 Newsday reported that a new Smithtown Animal Shelter Supervisor has been selected and will begin Aug. 5.
We wish her much success and hope that she will restore the constructive policies that were discontinued under the misguided management of Town Councilwoman Lisa Inzerilli and Public Safety Director John Valentine.
